Christy Canida (Instructables)

  • Christy Canida is Senior Manager of Partnerships and Community Marketing at Autodesk, Inc.  She works within the Consumer Group, where she helps connect passionate individuals with free or low-cost design tools and communities to enable them to explore and expand their creative potential, and drives educational initiatives. Christy was previously Director of Community and Marketing at Instructables, which was acquired by Autodesk in August 2011.  At Instructables she helped build and develop the creative community, maintain a productive and collaborative environment, and expand opportunities for Instructables authors.  She has spoken on topics including community, social media, and open-source hardware at Web2.0, OSCON, and Ignite events, and been interviewed on NPR.
